VIEWER SPECIAL: Ron's Overhead Dust Collector

Updated: Jan 7, 2023

Ron sent in some photos of his overhead table saw dust collector he built from my plans.

"Justin, This has been a great weekend project. Your directions were excellent. I only had to modify the length of the arm (54”) to fit my table saw. It works like a charm."

I told Ron this was the longest arm I've seen anyone make to date. I asked him if he had any problems with this. He responded:

"When I raise the vacuum head the arm will drop about 3/4”. I adjust for that and everything works great. My only issue was when I would swing the arm away from the table. I fixed this by reinforcing the brace to the table. It’s not an issue any longer. Thank you again for your design. I love it. "
